Planning Engineer – Civil Building Construction

Job Description

Planning Engineer with proven expertise in civil building construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate should be proficient in project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting to ensure projects are executed efficiently and within the planned timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project

• Prepare baseline programs, recovery schedules, and progress updates

• Monitor project progress and identify delays or potential risks

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports

• Evaluate resource allocation and ensure project optimization

• Track project milestones and highlight variances

• Assist in extension of time (EoT) claims and delay analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in civil building construction projects

• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6

• Solid understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and reporting skills
